Kalank Movie Plot:
When Satya (Sonakshi Sinha), daughter-in-law of a wealthy clan in pre-Partition Husnabad in Lahore, is diagnosed with cancer, she decides to find another wife for her husband (Aditya Roy Kapur).
The carefree Roop (Alia Bhatt) - an excellent dancer and also a student of Begum Bahaar (Madhuri Dixit) - is the ideal suitor, but she is reluctant to accept the offer.
In a parallel story, we have Zafar (Varun Dhawan), a kind-hearted blacksmith who is madly in love with the city.
The seemingly unrelated character arcs are bound to clash with the underlying themes of love, betrayal, and revenge as the story matures.
