Her journey into the world of cinema was rather serendipitous, as she entered the spotlight due to her connection to Aditya Chopra, the son of renowned director Yash Chopra. Joshi was attending the wedding of Aditya Chopra when her striking presence caught the family's attention, leading to an unexpected opportunity.

She was requested to audition for a role, and she eventually made her debut in the film "Mere Yaar Ki Shaadi Hai," starring opposite Uday Chopra. Initially faced with challenges such as not being fluent in Hindi, she dedicated herself to mastering the language and honing her acting skills at Feroz Khan's studio.
