Genelia D'Souza is an Indian film actress and model who predominantly works in the Hindi, Telugu, and Tamil film industries. She was born on August 5, 1987, in Mumbai, India.

Genelia started her acting career with the Hindi film "Tujhe Meri Kasam" in 2003, opposite Ritesh Deshmukh, whom she later married. She then made her debut in Telugu films with "Satyam" in 2003, which was followed by the Tamil film "Boys" in 2003. She went on to act in several successful films in Telugu and Tamil cinema, such as "Bommarillu," "Santosh Subramaniam," "Sakhi," and "Dhee."

Genelia has also acted in several Bollywood films such as "Jaane Tu... Ya Jaane Na," "Force," and "Tere Naal Love Ho Gaya."
